Reform happened. What did it do exactly? Did it change No-Fault insurance?  Can it help you save money? Reform did introduce a set of choices that could indeed help you save money but it could also cost you dearly if you don’t understand or qualify for these new changes. Call or shoot us a message and we can explain what options are best for your situation.

You won’t find “Full Coverage” on your policy. The term is more like a concept to protect your vehicle from a broad range of physical damages that fall under two coverages called Comprehensive and Collision. Generally, these are the required coverages when financing a vehicle but they are also important if you want insurance to cover the costs of your vehicle’s damages.

In general, all household members with access to the vehicle should be accounted for as well as anyone outside of your household with occasional use as they have the potential to be involved in an accident. Drivers not listed will not be protected by your policies’ coverages so if they are otherwise uninsured there is a severe risk to operating your vehicle. You should talk to an insurance agent in depth for anyone, not on your policy that has use of your vehicle.

Do you feel like you paying too much for your insurance? How much is too much?  This is one of the hardest conversations to generalize because the calculations for what you pay are vast. Your age, sex, driving record, length of insurance, credit aspects, claims made, type of vehicle, where you live, and types of coverage all factor in making it hard to compare what you pay compared to your best friend or next-door neighbor. It’s not a secret that insurance costs continue to go up which is why we believe that an independent agent should be your best option. We have more than one carrier and oftentimes can find a better solution to help you pay an amount you find fair without cutting coverage or raising deductibles.
